Friends of Matènwa's Mission:

Friends of Matènwa supports programs that offer the Matènwa, Haiti community and, by extension, other communities of Haiti opportunities to improve their education, social justice, community and cultural development, health and welfare. FoM emphasizes building local capacity and maintaining a high level of respect for local priorities.  

 

MCLC's present priority is to model and spread inexpensive but highly effective educational and agricultural techniques to low-income families and communities on the island of Lagonav, which is one of the most economically poor places in the world.
